Guest guest
Hi Z, I've been skimming posts, so am not totally up to speed with everyone. Have to dig out of this snowstorm today, too. It amazes me how much snow we've had. The vicodin and T3s you've been taking can be depressants on your central nervous system, so just keep that in mind when you are feeling extra " down " and zombie-like. Of course, your pain only adds to that. Is most of your pain in that rib area you described? I don't think you should take Kylie to the mall or out and about- not until you feel much better. Pulled and strained muscles can be so painful and take time to heal. Rest and don't move around for a bit, to give the muscle (if it's that) a chance to recoup. If a position or movement is uncomfortable, then stop what you're doing right away. You don't want to keep aggravating the muslce or problem. Could also be costochondroitis- inflammation of rib cartilage, which is very painful. If the pain is inflammatory, are you taking any anti-inflammatories (NSAIDS) to see if they might help more than the Vicoden? Hang in there, try to focus your mind on something that interests you rather than dwell on those morbid thoughts, kiddo. And, of course, talk to your GP, or get to the ER and see your GP as soon as possible. Could you speak to your GP by phone? <
