Guest guest
What kinda tests Beans?? It sounds really like a stupid waste of time and $$ to me:( Drs are so good at that:( You are already diagnosed NF2, what else do they want to know?? How lame:( My advice is find a good neurosurgeon and have regular MRIs. If you have any tumor changes, watch them. Rapid growth or pain, paralysis or numbness are grounds for surgery. I havent the foggiest what they would test you for?? Ill take your $$ if you wanna give it away:)~~lowi who wants to help:) Good & Bad Recently I had yet another MRI. I t took the Dr a month to get me the answer to the readings . First the MRI was routine every thing fine. I waited for the reading. waited, waited. I found out that they filed it and didn't even look at it. The next was the local Dr . could find nothing. It was sent on to the neurosurgen. He could find nothing either. He stated that it could be a combonation of things, all related. 1 was the deteration of the 5th vert. in my neck 2 there are many tumors in the neck spine ect, that cause the pain in the arms hands legs and so on. 3 it could be arthurits. Well as you can see i'm in a pickle. The surgon wants me to go to another Dr. and get more tests. I'm alive for now. Do I have more tests or what? Guest guest
It took awhile to get a proper diagnosis for me also. Even now getting proper treatment is sometimes questionable. They hooked me up to electrodes and jolted me with electricity for one test. That I did not like. Another time was to check fluid in my spine. After a few pins and needles they concluded that I had no fluid and only tumours in my spine. My back looked like a pin cushion along the spine. I have had so many MRI's that I think the R stands for Randy. Yes there are tests to take. Some are easy and some may be difficult but it is important to get a proper picture and a proper diagnosis. Treatment starts at the beginning and it is important to know where the beginning is. Randy Good & Bad Well as you can see i'm in a pickle.
