Guest guest
Hi guys, Since you are all so knowledgeable on so many different topics I thought you may have some experience with this herb(: I read that it helps build your immune system as well as getting rid of bacteria and fungus in the body. I think I may have candida because I get frequent yeast infections so I thought it may help with that. Has anyone else tried it and how much did you take for how long? Thanks! Guest guest
Hi Mel, Well I'm not a " guy " (am a gal) but I used oil of oregano for a while. a few months, until it ran out several years ago. It didn't seems to help me much at all....never noticed any difference. So I never bought it or used it again. I got rid of my frequent yeast infections for good by going on a 2-week veggie/wheat grass juice fast & continuing to drink two quarts a day of the juices plus sticking to a strict diet, eating loads of fresh garlic & taking Kyolic aged garlic supplements. And doing daily enemas, some with garlic, some with organic coffee. And getting a series of colonics from a specialist. Also using caprylic acid supplements for many months plus quit having sex altogether forever, which always brought the yeasties attacks on. That was 15 years ago. Haven't had any yeast infections since then, not once. Tho I still have to watch my diet as I have Buddha Belly & other digestive problems now...but no more itchy yeast infections that bother me anymore. The caprylic acid, I think, is much better than the oil of oregano. But they could be used in tandem for candida I think. I still do the fresh garlic drinks & continue to take the Kyolic every day though too as they knock out the bad bacteria & build the good up. An excellent probiotic that knocks it out, builds good bacteria & improve the bowels overall is Primal Defense. I recently started back on that for other digestive reasons & to bolster my immune system for the winter. I have excellent bowel functioning now, no IBS as I used to. And the only time I run into trouble is after a course in antibiotics from the dentist. Primal Defense cures that fast tho. It's one the best products on the market...pricey tho...but worth it. Guest guest
Hi friends, My Doc of Traditional Chinese Medicine prescribed colostrum capsules for candida and it cleared it right up. Colostrum is kinda spendy, but it helps relieve my aches in addition to the acupuncture. I get colostrum from iHerb.com. I am now taking 6000mg of the powder (one scoop) 4-5 times a day. It provides great nutrition and helps the body heal. Hope this helps, Elaine > > Oil of oregano > > > > Hi guys, > > Since you are all so knowledgeable on so many different topics I > thought you may have some experience with this herb(: I read that it > helps build your immune system as well as getting rid of bacteria and > fungus in the body. Guest guest
It comes from breasts or I guess animal's teats. It's the first fluid that comes out of the mother for a few days before the milk comes. Caroline Re: Re: Oil of oregano what is colostrum made from?
