Guest guest
I'm doing okay...at least I THINK I'm doing okay on generic Armour. I've never had the real stuff to compare to but this stuff leaves synthetic T4 in the dust. Guest guest
I don't think I'm doing near as well on the generic as I did on the name brand Armour. I sure hate this because I bought enuff to last me at least 3 months. I have never been so 'down' or depressed in my life on Armour as I am on the generic. All I've wanted to do all day is cry, and I don't feel good at all! ughh! SandyE~HOuston
Guest guest
Sorry to learn that, Maggie. For me it's the Full Moon thing too. I always feel bad on full moons starting about a week before they're full & a few days afterwards. So I've have come to hate them...in some signs worse than others. It's in a bad sign & house astrologically for me this month, yesterday & today...Gemini. Hoping I'll feel better when it moves on out of there. Crossing my fingers & toes.....for you too, my friend. We can't blame everything on low thyroid function. Caroline Re: Generic Armour from myrxforless I totally agree - I feel like crap
Guest guest
So sorry to hear that, Sandy. Will you order the straight Armour for yourself then again? Oh gee...maybe that's my problem too? I'm taking the generic..not brand name Armour. It was so expensive!!! I didn't do at all well on the generic Synthroid either...was chemically sensitive & it made me sick. That all went away when my dr. put me on brand name Synthroid tho. I guess I'll be asking my new doctor to put me on non-generic Armour too then. Caroline Generic Armour from myrxforless I don't think I'm doing near as well on the generic as I did on the name brand Armour. I sure hate this because I bought enuff to last me at least 3 months. Guest guest
Actually I'm wondering if going up on the generic is what I should try. It's time for me to raise the armour, if i start feeling like I need it, but I don't know. I guess tomorrow I'll up it some, and if that doesn't do the trick, then I may have to up it again. I don't think the generic is as strong as the other. But, we'll see. Guest guest
, my first thought was that maybe this generic isn't as potent or just doesn't work as well for me at the dose I'm used to? I'm due for an increase and with the way I feel, it's sure gonna happen. I know that with Armour thyroid, I can take it once a day and not have to take another pill later, but with this, it doesn't work that way for me. Directly after lunchtime, in the early afternoon, I'm so tired I can hardly move. :-( SandyE~Houston Re: Generic Armour from myrxforless WOW am I the only one that is NOT having a problem with this med? Guest guest
Yes it's likely you may just need to increase your dosage. Do you think that your O.D.ing the other day unintentionally on it could have something to do with the way you're now feeling? Seems like it could have messed up your hormonal balance a lot & might make you feel worse for a while after having so much all at once in your body. Guest guest
Sandy - Also, what would that extra shock of the additional armour do to adrenals? Could that have put some stress on them that might be affecting how you're feeling now? It might take some time for them to recover too. Just a thought. Good luck.
