10 months old....is it too late??

My son is 10 months old and has plagiocephaly. I have two appointments

next week to talk to neurosurgeons. I am so frustrated/upset b/c I

have been asking my (old) pediatrician about this flat spot for

months. She kept reassuring me that it would round back out. It is

starting to impact his front forehead. And his new pediatrician said I

should take him to a specialist. So I am and hoping it's not too

late. Has any one started this treatment at 10 months and was it worth

it?
