Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I went to the doctor's office today for a saline sonogram. DR March wanted me to have another one done. Just in case someone does not remember I had surgery with DR March in December. We did a saline sonogram in march but it was not a very good picture. I have not had a period. I did have some brownish pink spotting yesterday which was a little encouraging although my cramping has been horrible. I was excited when we finish the sonogram because my dr here in atlanta said that it looked a lot better. You could not see the scarring on the sonogram. He decided that DR March would want an hsg. For anyone who is not familiar with this procedure it is a little different because it gives a clearer picture. They use dye and it is supposed to show how your tubes and all are working. It was very painful. They tried over and over again with different catheters to get in. The radiologist did this procedure and he thinks there is something blocking which he assumed was scar tissue right above the cervix opening. I am a little confused because of how painful it was. I was shaking so bad. They finally gave me some medicine. I know that my doctor has always had a difficult time with these procedures but he did get in with a very small catheter but the strange thing is that the saline never stays in. Has anyone had this to happen or can explain why they have such a hard time. I was just praying that today would be a better outcome. I guess things still looked better to my doctor but of course I am not exactly sure what that means. I have sent the films to DR March so I guess I will just have to wait and see what he has to say. Thanks for listening to me and if any one has any ideas of what is going please let me know. I have had a lot of these tests and everytime I have had trouble. thanks again. You are all in my prayers
