BTW, what work do you do, and what are you looking for and where?

You never know where an opportunity might pop up -- and it could be

there's someone posting on here who is looking, or whose boss is

looking for someone who does exactly what you do.

Same to you, etta...

am in school and am job searching (actually, I haven't started the

search yet, but I will after I heal). I'm due to have surgery next

month and my dilemma is that the majority of my time is spent

singing. I've been singing almost all my life and the thought of not

being able to do it is just devastating to me. Oh well, God is good

and He'll bring me through this. Just thought I'd share.

I'm an IT Tech. I quit my job back in December; however, I went back to school

to keep up my skills. I currently attend ITT Tech. If all goes as planned,

I'll be graduating in June 2004 (instead of March 2005 as scheduled). Just got

my grades tonight for last quarter...still holding my 4.0.

With my surgery at the end of October, I figure I should be plenty well enough

to go back to work after I graduate in June. That would be 8 months post op

which is more than enough recovery time (I think)...is that reasonable or just

wishful thinking? I'm hoping that because of my age I won't need more time...I

will be 43 by then.

Congratulations!

And yes, I think eight months will be more than enough time to

recover. I'd expect you'll be back in shape and rarin' to go!
