Guest guest
Debbie, It could be low testosterone. in Va. * This is me too! The last couple years have been especially bad and I thought it was all due to thyroid and kept changing doseages-- now I'm more certain all the time that it was my adrenals. I've walked 3-4 miles a day for years and then I just started losing muscle tone -- it made no sense! I couldn't stand feeling my calves jiggle when I walked. I'm not overweight, so others couldn't see what the problem was. But I was so weak since I'd lost so much muscle. When I told my dr that this was a major problem for me, he just asked if I had considered seeing a personal trainer! Aarrgh! That wasn't the problem -- it was that my body was not capable of making or keeping the muscle! What would a personal trainer do for that?! Anyway, I think I'm on the right track now by treating my adrenals -- but I hate to speak too soon since it's only been a couple months! It helps to know it wasn't just me with this problem. At the time, I couldn't find anyone else and thought I was making a big deal out of nothing! Debbie ..
