Thanks for the info, nne. I sure wish I knew back then (in '88) what I know now about the bc pill. I look forward to seeing the info that is going to one day come out about the pill. The only good thing about it is that it did indeed help the Endo pain...but I think at a high price in other ways! First of all, I wouldn't think a constant state of pregnancy would be good for a woman's body...(it's obviously not natural) and yet, I took the pill for a total of about ten years...so it was tricking my body (off and on) for a loooooong time. Then, I keep thinking, what happens to the ovaries and the endocrine system while the "pill" takes over the hormones...and the thing that ticks me off the most...how the synthetic progestins have far greater side effects then we've realized. Just ask those who've used those Depo Provera shots. The last pill I was on... Ortho Tri-Cyclen totally STOLE my sex

drive, had nothing, it was torture, but it took me a long time to figure out what was causing it. And last, but certainly not least, is the way the pill can block the Estrogen and Testosterone receptors in the Vulvar skin...leading to, or exacerbating Vulvar pain.... *ARG* ~Chelle
