Guest guest
My family has questioned my need for all of these reconstructive surgeries. This weekend, they saw a picture of me in which all of my rolls of chin-skin were caught just right. The consensus of everyone, including my PARENTS, was that " she really does need a face-lift. " Like I said, it's a victory of sorts. I don't think there are very many people who think their own children could use a little work, but I do think it helps them be a little philosophical when they're waiting at the hospital, hoping that this time there won't be a complication.... Guest guest
: My first surgery was a face lift. I'm a gay man and after all of that weight loss, I was happy as a clam, but really looked sick. It was a little over a year after my WLS. At that time, I didn't think I'd be doing all of the body stuff, but everyone sees your face all the time. If your cheeks are hollow, there are several things, including your own fat they can pump in to plump them up a little. It's all so damned expensive and every one is a pain to recover from, just in different ways. I'm sure glad that's all in the rearview mirror at this point. I asked my trusted PS if I needed a facelift, and then he asked me if I was losing any more. When I said no, he jokingly told his assistant to schedule me for " emergency " surgery. I guess you can laugh if you're raking in the dough like that. Of course, having people's lives in your hands day in and day out, and their looks, has got to be a load. Bandas RNY April 1998 a victory, of sorts > My family has questioned my need for all of these reconstructive surgeries. > This weekend, they saw a picture of me in which all of my rolls of chin-skin > were caught just right.
