I am a newbie compared to you - My dd will be scanned on Friday for her band. I was wondering about your sons jaw - My dd has jaw issues too - but we think they are unrelated. What is going on w/ his jaw? My dd's looks like this

normal would be this

We were thinking hemifacial microsomia - but the drs have initially told us it is just a wait and see for now. My dd has left tort and the asymmetry is on the leftside. She was also born w/ facial paralysis on the left side but that has pretty much resolved itself.

I can finally breathe a sigh of relief. My 10.5 month old son

just got his 2nd doc band today. He was first banded at 7.5 months and

we removed the band after 9 weeks. The new band is a different style.

Has anyone with a doc band ever had a different style band for the 2nd

one? I'm just curious. I guess the holding points change as their

head changes. We are really hoping for some correction to the facial

asymmetry with this one. I just worry about future issues with his jaw

alignment. Anyone have any experience with this?

Oh, and at least we have some good news today. He graduated from his

physical therapy for tort.!!!
