June,

Count me in! I haven't been to Toronto for about five years now, and I

certainly didn't have any homemade wine last time. I love the flowers

everywhere! In fact, one of my favorite pictures of my daughter was one that

I took at one of the parks in Toronto.

Watch out, June! Nothing but the kids still being in school is holding me

up. Once school is over it would be easy for me to take a road trip to

Toronto. Anybody who wants a ride from my area (Elaine or Anne?) or anyone

along the way, let me know.

Months ago I wrote about how I was trying to buy a new car. I did go

shopping several times and never bought one yet. (I bought a piano instead,

and that only took me about four hours. Now if I could only stop playing

" Send in the Clowns. " ) A trip to Canada would give me a good excuse to

finally get the sorry task of car shopping over with. I need to buy one

before the divorce is final.

Hugs back,

& June,

Thanks for thinking of me, but no way am I going for any LONG RIDES that

I don't have to take. The rides down to Mobile to see my daughter and

her family and to Atlanta to see my son's family and sister and parents

are LONG ENOUGH.

No seriously, I have a tendency to get blood clots in my feet on long

trips.. now the trip to Colorado each year with my husband for two

weeks camping in the mountains... somehow that doesn't count... no

phones, no traffic, and TIME ALONE with my hons... We DO stop frequently

and walk around.. plus somehow the Jeep with a case of soda at my feet,

seems to bring my feet up enough that they do not swell.

I hope you DO get together. Be nice for all of you.. and I DO appreciate

the invitation. .. what kind of car are you looking for?

God Bless you,

elaine

June,

I think that would be fun. I'm ready for some fun. I'd really enjoy meeting

you, too. I'm also seriously considering driving or flying out to a's

area this summer. My sister and brother live out that way (my bro in NJ and

my sis in NY).

Hi June,

Sometimes these specialists get so wrapped up in their field that they

cannot see the forest for the trees....I think that is right saying? I

cannot even imagining trying to sign with my hands! Good grief!!

Hope Don is okay, is this a routine check up or did something happen while

I was gone??

Sorry about your computer crashing - what a hassel! I missed your positive

outlook in life.

I believe that you had better rest your fingers and your entire body, June!

I think I should be the one bearing gifts when I visit. Better yet, I'll

have my little sister, a, make you something. You and a have

something in common - love of creating culinary masterpieces! Right now

a works for both Whole Foods and -Sonoma. For Easter she made

some very elaborate, beautiful cookies that were on display at sixteen

-Sonoma stores in the suburban Chicago area.

Hope Don is OK. That sign language story is so funny. I bet you could do it

beautifully though (so what if you inadvertently swear sometimes). Your

special hands accomplish many tasks that people with straight fingers can't

even being to do.

Glad you had a good sleep the other night. Hope last night was restful, too.

Take care,
