I didn't answer your question about the meds. The first 2 days after the meds. I had no hives. Have been back though. I am going to go back to restricted diet today to see if they'll calm down a bit. Much Love, ~Alena's Mom Re: Gastrocream Hi: I have gone to the second doc, Pulmanory Specialist, he will not make a call just now on the spots on my lungs, cause he says they could be from the urticaria, he did tell me my asthma is out of control for one thing so I am on singular, flovent, and albuterol for the rest of this year. The cortisone shots I took on Thurs. stopped the itch, and my places are drying up , no new ones as of yet. I have stopped smoking, thank God, the doc told me keep puffing and leave early, stop and stick around, so I stopped cold turkey. The meds make me feel bad sometimes, I guess it is just reactions to them, for now.. At least I can sleep at night now. I have to make appointment now with a dermatologist now, they want a skin biopsy to determine if the urticaris is on my lungs, if not they will also do a lung biopsy. So for now all is waiting on my derma visit. At least one thing these docs allowed me to talk and they listened and the things that I had printed from some of you regarding urticaria they read and confered, that made me feel good, when I went to the pulmanory doc on Friday he spoke by phone with the internal med doc and they agreed to let the derma doc do his biopsy before anything else is speculated. The internal med doc is so concerned and a very spiritual person, he prays to be able to help me in my presence, never saw a doc pray before that touched me deeply and he was most sincere with his prayer. Just wanted to let you know how things are going, cause along with everything else I have, urticaria is also on the list and maybe some combination given me may help someone else, all I know is God is the answer and I know he puts special people in our paths for special needs, and this is a VERY SPECIAL need for us all.
