Hi,

Well, it's over with, thank goodness!

The nighttime part was't so bad, except for the things they stuck in my nose.

And, they woke me up before I wanted to get up. I did wake up a few times

during the night, but went right back to sleep.

It's the day time test that was a killer.

I was SO tired. I had to sleep for 20 minutes every 2 hours. It was so hard to

stay awake in between. Had to go down to the cafeteria a lot (with all those

electrodes connected to my head with this stuff that felt like crisco shortning)

just to stay awake. I kept nodding off while I was waiting in my room, watching

boring tv.

Then, she'd come in and tell me it's time to sleep again, which was relieving,

but then she woke me up after about 20 minutes, and I just wanted to stay

asleep.

It was funny. The first nap, I wasn't sure if I slept or not. The tech isn't

suppose to tell you anything, but later in the day she told me (since I had

already filled out the form) that that first nap I fell asleep right away, and

was in a really deep sleep. I was sure I slept all the other naps.

So, now I have to wait for a couple weeks till I see the sleep dr and find out

the results.

I'm glad it's over. I had some coffe when I finished, and a shower, and now I

feel much better.

I did get some funny looks walking around the hospital with all those wires

connected to me.

I think I scared a couple kids!!! hehe

Hugs,

Glad it's over for you, ! Sounds like how my hubby did - he was

diagnosed with Narcolepsy.

> Yea, that's what the dr thinks I have. Narcolpesy.

> I used to think that was pretty scary and creepy. But, there are

different levels of it.

You're right, . My hubby never has had problems driving and

such, it's mainly when he stops moving that he can't stay awake.
