World class cyclist Zabriskie hits the road again after agonizing injuries

Zabriskie's legs are a road map of cycling mishaps... knot below the

right kneecap ... nearly invisible scar on his left shin ... scarlet scars

that surround it ... cadaver bone in his left leg or the three permanent

screws holding it together. Or the broken left wrist and the six pins that

protruded from the skin for weeks... wiry 6-foot, 145-pound frame ... He's

a contortionist: His double-jointed shoulders can pop inward creating a

narrow, knife-like shape to slice through the wind...
