(kinda feels like a cats tongue) I could do nothing to get rid of it until I one day put my husband's Murrays Hair Dressing on it. It's a thick petroleum/mineral oil based hair grease (in an orange canister) and almost instantly softened and removed the hard and paiful skin on my elbows. I did suggest this to Terry awhile back as well. Did you try it and did it work for you Terr? I'd be most happy to send you some if it is not accessible to you and you'd like to try it. You have to be diciplined about keeping it on though or the dryness will return very quickly. I usually apply it before bed and right after getting out of the shower.
