Hi all,

Bill got behind in his pain medicine less than one day. They had taken him

off his pain injections and new prescriptions were ordered. I guess the medicine

got out of his system too quick. He is now on:

<<Oxycontin 40 mg TABLET SA 40 mg CR & Oxycontin 20 mg TABS CR>> every 12

hours. [The pharmacist claimed they did not have 60 mg tablets??? So they split

the order tonight and charged me for two orders??? :-(],

Seroquel 25 mg at night,

Neurontin 300 mg cap 3 times a day,

Zyrtec 10 mg,

Folic acid 1 mg tablet,

Norvasc 5 mg,

Suddenly, this afternoon, I suppose his old medications wore off. His pain

was unbelievable. I ended up walking to and from the pharmacy at night for the

above medications. [The pharmacist was kind enough to accept a fax. He also had

to call the doctor due to his scribble :-). We called his doctor and thank

God he had been on call tonight. This doctor said his pain spasms were from the

sudden stop of the medications. Either we got the meds or he would have to go

back to the hospital.

Weird. The pains started from the smell of Pine-Sol Pine cleaner. I was

washing up the bathroom and the smell set off his DJD back spasms. Okay, I know

every part of us is connected, and considering his lung condition ... well who

knew. His super sensitive nose has gotten worse ... Odors gave him pain. Caro.
