Guest guest
Thanks all for the suggestions and info. The Dr is having Dylan change his patch every two days now. And he will raise the dose as soon as the side affects stop. I find it odd that the cold sweats come on the day a new patch is applied, but hopefully things will settle down soon. The hydrocortisone cream is helping with the rash on the removed patch areas, but I'm alittle scared to put the goo-gone on the rashes to take the sticky stuff off. I think I'll see if I can find an unscented baby oil. I continues to get more active with this med. He even asked for the PT to come to the house and show him how to do some exercises on his upper body. I'm thinking about talking to the PT about the colored bands to work out with. Tonight he has a bit of an attitude. He can't get his internet to work since we moved him to his new bedroom two days ago. That has kept him busy <G>. I really like that on this med he is clear headed, more sociable, much more active, less depressed, just all around so much better. Now we wait and see if these side affects settle down. Thanks so much to all. Cindy C.

Guest guest
Hey Cindy - I haven't really had time to read all my e-mails lately. Just read this one. This is great news. I'm so glad to hear Dylan is getting better! I'm sorry I've been ignoring everyone. I've just been so over-extended with all the crap here. The school, the dr's the pt's, the house mess, taking the kids places, blah blah blah........... And, my pain has been pretty bad. My meds aren't doing the trick. I had deep tissue massage on my hips a few days ago, and I'm really hurting from that. I know it will get better soon. It's just waiting till the bruising goes away. I have my sleep study tomorrow night. I can't have any cafeine or naps tomorrow, so I don't know if I'll be able to even get on the computer. It's gonna be a hard day. I hope things keep getting better and better for Dylan. Oh, and thanks for the help with the letter for the school. Barb wrote one too, explaining why can't always sit properly. Hopefully, I can get this sorted. says her posture is 20% of the grade in keyboarding. I don't thinks she can be penalized for not being able to sit the way the teacher wants her to. She better not!
