Guest guest
Thank you Jai for your kind words and prayers. Tom has been such a permanent presence in our lives, my granddaughter just adores him, so I worry about what to tell her when does go. She has 2 kitties at her house so hopefully she won't miss him too much. I just hate to have to tell a young child that someone or a pet has died. When we lost Dwight's Dad was almost 4 and was 2 ( he died Christmas Eve) and one day a few months after he had died, turns to me and says where is Grandpa, I thought I had expressed it well enough but obivously I left something out because she asked me if Grandpa is up in heaven with Jesus, why couldn't he comes down and visit us. I can't remember what I had said to her but it seemed to have satisfied her. take care, Love, Lin Hi Lin, I hope your cat is not getting sick. I have a 17 year old Siamese, she is the mother of my beloved cat who died in 2001. She is doing well but I worry every day because she is so old. I worry because my other cat who died went so fast. His birthday was 8/8/88 and on his birthday in 2001 he seemed fine and by 8/23/01 I had to have him put down, he was so sick. It was liver cancer the vet said. I posted the poem, I have not seen it yet on the digest so if it did not go through I will re-post. I hope you are enjoying the holiday season. Take care and I will keep you and your cat in my prayers. Love Jai No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus. Guest guest
Oh could not let this pass as I also have cats and just this summer had to put my oldest, Wren to sleep, and he was 18. I knew he had cancer and last month I held him all the time in my bed. d him to litter box and food/water then one morning about 6:30, called vet and told him when we would be there. I will forever miss my baby but expect to see him in Heaven. know will be so hard if your cat does not make it, and hard for granddaughter to understand, I would think the Christian book store would have a book on how and what to say to a young child. That is only idea have, but God can but the right words in your mouth also. Jai, know loosing your other "child" must of been so hard. I look at mine, have 3 now, and sometimes just makes me sick as recall Wren and don't want mine to ever leave me. Is your Momma cat your only one now Jai? I would have to get 2 kittens if had just older one to have them already before something happened to Momma Kitty. I have had to just delete many emails Jai so do not know if poem came through or not. But if you do send it again, will you write on subject that is poem? Most likely was on the one sent just asking in case wasn't as do not want to miss reading it. Well that took long way around to get points across. Gee, is like chugging along on railroad with glue on tracks, lots and lots of glue on tracks!!!! Take care all JoAnn s Momma older pets Thank you Jai for your kind words and prayers.
