Guest guest
Barbara, Thanks for saying I wasn't dumping. I am thankful for the fact that my LTD was an elective benefit. I think I always figured I would end up getting something that would keep me off work for a long time, that's why I kept paying for it the 15 years I was with my company. That is a scary prospect to not know if you are okayed or not. We weren't sure whether or not I was going to receive any more checks, especially when we looked on line to see if had been deposited and it wasn't, made for a long weekend. Turns out when the year of LTD was over, some other administration branch must of took over and now I receive real checks for the time being we just signed a paper okaying direct deposit, anyway my sister gets the checks and she saw mine was a real check so she kept it instead of putting it in the mail. However she neglects to tell me that she has the check until Sunday evening. I wanted to kick her. We went from Friday to Sunday trying to figure out what to do. We talked about selling his truck, because we really only need 1 vehicle, if I need the car I could always take him to work it is about 4 miles away, near the stores and pharmacy I would need to go to. I will pray that you are approved and that you get some kind of assistance until your checks start coming. It isn't very much fun to have people that you've never even seen determine your fate. love ya, Lin Lin - Please don't consider what you said as dumping. Many of us here are either in a similar boat or facing it. I recently received the last of my checks from work and will soon be facing a similar scenario. I don't don't yet whether the insurance company has approved me for long term idsability insurance and even then I'm not eligible until Jan 12. I would imagine a check doesn't just pop in the mailbox on the 12th. I may have to look into what kind of supports I an entitled to unless I can get back to work soon. Looking kinda bleak around here too. Thankfully my health insurance is fully covered until April12th. Barbara No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus.
