Hi Fay,

I was interested that you mentioned having spheroids (lumps under the

skin) as I have quite a lot of those too. I have a variant EDS/Marfan

mutation and have symptoms from several EDS types - I'm kind of like

a Heinz 57 variaties I think! So maybe the spheroids, wide scars and

poor wound healing might be a cross over from classical type.

Does anyone else have spheroids without having classical EDS?

Love and hugs....Jo

I'm not sure if this classifies as a spheroid or not! But on the

lower back of my neck/upper right shoulder I have a pea sized hard

ball that seems to move around a bit. On my lower left back I have a

grape sized very hard but very moveable bony like lump. It stays in

the same place but I can move it a little. I'm HMS/H-EDS (hunting

down another geneticist to get it worked out completely). Those are

the only two things I've noticed on my body but I'm not sure if they

pass as spheroids.

Jo,

I have them. I use to play with them as a kid not knowing that everybody

didn't have lumps under the skin. Caro

I don't get sounds. My wrist area looks fatter than it should and my ankles

are the same. I use to think it was just getting old and fat :-D. Caro
