Guest guest
Isn't your area like all the rest of the northeast with roads going every which way. I know that's how they are in Mass and Maine! How could you possibly determine which way your road/driveway goes unless you have the sun to go by?! My sister in Maine said there was less snow in the area where she used to live (only about 20 mi. away) than where she lives now but I see by the weather map that the snow might have quit right about where she lives so I'll bet Dawn didn't get any of that snow. I actually have seen a driveway here (again east/west) closed when we only had 1-2 " of snow but the wind took that snow and piled it up to the people's knees so they couldn't get into their driveway! Wind is wicked with snow!!! I don't think they'd even thought of the term " El Nino " in 1970-71. Someone asked why i remembered the number of inches of snow---because it was an awful amount!!!!!! We were only there in Syracuse from Sept 1970-June 1971 so maybe that's why it stuck too. Here a " wicked " amount of snow to be had in a winter season might be 90 " and that is so rare!
