Guest guest
Anjil Sure know what you're talking about when you say it doesn't feel very good to have a knee drained!! It hurts a whole lot-especially moving the needle around. The Novocain didn't work this time. Cortisone never hurts like that draining did! And it was done again right after it was drained. (It quite working already too.) THEN after the draining, it " pinched " in the medial joint space. OUCH! And went on for nearly a month! I've been having better relief from using ice, aspercreme, and Polarity therapy than this last cortisone shot gave. I don't ever want to go the TKR route, unless ALL else has failed. From now on I'll say 'NO' to the draining, unless it's absolutely necessary *from my view point!* ~love 'n' hugs~ CindyH Wisc.
