I read the messages regularly and there has been a wealth of information. Recently I got the denial letter from my insurance company, United Health Care (UHC). United health care has denied coverage stating that " orthotic devices re-shaping a body part " are excluded from coverage. I would like to know if anyone in this group has been succesful in claiming coverage from UHC ? If yes, how was the appeal letter drafted ? Note - I did look at the link in the for sample appeal letters. I would like to know if anyone has some letters that they could share with me. Appreciate your time !
