I hope in the future if you don't get a response from someone, please post again. Sometimes, I just scan quickly through the emails thinking I will return later to read them and then I never actually get around to reading them. Sorry. I, like you, did not have any period since the birth of my child in Jan. 1999. After my surgery with Dr Palter in Aug 02, I do remember there being a great change in everything in relation to discharge, pain, bleeding, etc. For so long, there was nothing. I never even had discharge for so long because my cervix was scarred shut. Once it returned, it seemed unusual, but now that it is 6 months later, it has balanced out and I am basically normal again. I definitely would ask your doctor to make sure everything is okay. And the pain may be a sign of endometrium so perhaps this is good news.
