Date set

Well, I just got a call with the date for my Review Tribunal hearing.

It's going to be on March 25th at 1:30 pm in Fredericton, which is only

about an hour away from here. My lawyer called me to inform me and I

asked the secretary if I could meet with the lawyer before that date and

she said yes, they would contact me to come in later. The Tribunal has

to make their decision known in 6 - 8 weeks after the hearing date, so

here's hoping I'll have some good news come Summer. I'm so nervous that

I'm going to blow it and get denied. My lawyer keeps telling me that's

a very real possibility, even though he can't believe I've been denied

and thinks my case is open and shut. We'll see. The people at CPP are

supposed to mail a copy of their file to my lawyer to show what they've

based their opinion on, so that will give us something to go on. I'm

fretting that this whole Montreal trip will hurt me more than help me,

seeing how I've been on 30 mg. of Pred. since Christmas and my CPK is

97!! What if no inflammation shows at all?? I know the PM is well

under control and that's the argument of CPP. If my disease is being

contolled, why can't I go back to work?? Oh well, I refuse to drive

myself crazy over this. If I get denied, I'll have to go back to work.

It's just so darned hard living on hubby's income only. Oh, good news

about that! He's been working at his present job for 3 mths. now, so

his boss gave him his health insurance papers to fill out yesterday and

I filled them out for him last night. I wonder how long it will be

before it becomes effective? They don't offer dental, which is a real

bummer, but at least we'll have the other coverages. Well, thanks for

letting me ramble. I've been eating way too much of Annette's fudge

lately, so I'm probably suffering from a sugar high. LOL. If you want

some delicious fudge, you all should really try her recipe. It's

fool-proof.
