Guest guest
Hi : This morning we awoke to a new two feet of snow. My DH got out the snowblower to clear the driveway, then we headed up over the summit. My son did a wonderful job of driving very carefully, his first time on snow chains. But we are back in our " real " home now, where a few snowflakes falling make the frontpage of the paper. I remember one very light flurry of snowflakes in the early '90s was the first measurable snow here in 20 years! In July when it's your winter you'll hear me complaining about heatwaves of 105F. Gets very hot here, too. (Central Valley of California, two hours east of San Francisco.) Unfortunately, when we got home my DH realized he left my box with all my supplements, plus my MTX bottle up at Tahoe. And of course, there are no more refills, because the rheumy wants to see me first on 1/14 before he writes another script. I'm sure hoping he's in the office tomorrow to call an emergency refill to the pharmacist. I usually take responsibility for all my own stuff getting into the car, but he had it in his hand was heading towards the garage ... except ... when he was out of my sight he set it down on the top of the washing machine and forgot to come back to get it. I know it's not as crucial as with some of the other meds like pred to skip a dose of MTX, but shoot! Yeah, it's hard to see the boysies leave, but this one has his life in order, is doing well in school, and has lovely a girlfriend. He's 21 and this is what we raised him for ... to be independent and happy! Tenayahh > Wow, Tenayahh. Guest guest
Glad you made it home safely, Tenayahh. How maddening about those meds; I bet you could have killed your husband, or are you more tolerant than me?! Our heat wave has finally broken and it rained over night, although it is still humid. Hope you got those meds replaced OK, Happy New Year, Lesley > " tenayahh@...> >Reply-To: OurMyositis >To: OurMyositis >Subject: Re: Last night & missing meds >Date: Mon, 30 Dec 2002 06:42:15 -0000 > >Hi : > >This morning we awoke to a new two feet of snow.
