Guest guest
Hi, I have been thinking about this... The last time I had an MRI, years ago, it was awful. I was in so much pain and had a lot of extra pain for over a week afterwards... And this was even with a lot of pillows, blocks of foam etc. I will try to get X-rays and an MRI done before this summer. But I have been thinking about how on earth do I get through it. I would need to get an MRI of the lower back and SI joints, but also maybe of the upper back and neck. That would be quite a long time on that table altogether. And since I can't really lay down on such a table to begin with, because the SI joint(s) will go out, I would have to endure laying there with it out for like... 1 hour? Have any of you found a way to make it possible to do it without too much discomfort? How did you do it? Did you get some other medication to use, if so which? Thanks a lot!!!! You lay on a table, and a machine goes back >and forth over several areas of your body - ankle, hip and spine, I think. >Anyway, if you wear slacks with a zipper, you will need to unzip them, >otherwise if you wear elastic waist, you don't have to adjust anything.
