Guest guest
Hi Sue, How cool with all of the pets... I don't think I have ever seen a dwarf hamster... How small are they? Maybe they just call them hamsters here, many of them are really small. Gekko's and such are not common here at all, tropical animals are forbidden as pets here. But when we were kids, we had a teacher that was really interested in nature's animals. So in our classroom we had frogs, salamanders, snakes etc. The parents didn't exactly love him when he sent a glass of whatever you call them (pre-frogs) home with all of us so they could develop all the way at home... My mom and dad were fine until they got legs... Then they went off out into a pond... He-he... But our classroom was really quite a zoo. It was a lot of fun... Now I only have Peanut, but I am thinking of getting a guinea pig too, but most as company for Peanut. She is a somewhat strange dog, she doesn't have any hunting instinct, she just loves all other animals, cats, rats, guinea pigs, rabbits, birds etc. She thinks it is a bit scary when birds fly around the living room though, she hides under the coach then. But outside, she really wants to say hi to the larger birds, and she stands there crying when they fly off and don't want to let her greet them... Same with the cats. She is so happy if I can convince a cat to come to say hi to us... I think she would like a lot to get a guinea pig. We already have a name ready Kikki Rikki ( " Peanut " is Kikiriki in Bosnian), this is what one of my co-workers always call Peanut... We have to have a " rosette " guinea pig, don't know what you call them in English, you know those with their hair sticking in every direction. Had one of those when I was a teenager, I loved him so much... It would be a lot of fun to get one of these... Aase Marit >Yeah, I think so......love all animals and nature. Which is awfully strange >as I didn't have a one when I was young......guess it affected me eh?
