Guest guest
Anybody know what normal ranges are and what exactly these measurements are measuring? My son recently had measurements retaken. Cephalic Index went from 77.0 to 83 with a +1 standard deviation. What does Cephalic Index measure, I have no idea and what is the standard deviation refer to? Since I saw the cephalic index go up, I was concerned, but then told the standard deviation is +1, so its good. Can anyone explain this? His traditional CVA went from 7 to 6. What does CVA measure? What is normal? His mid-face asymmetry went from 2 to 4. That does not seem good to me. Wasn't 2 in the normal range and now that went up. What exactly does mid-face measure? He has fuller cheek on rt. and rt. ear is pushed forward. His skull base asymmetry went from 4 to 3. Some numbers went down by 1, but some went up. Anyone ever experience this?
