My DD has been wearing a helmet (not band) for 2 months and has tort.

The tort was just diagnosed and we just now started PT. Now (at 7

months) I am noticing significant (to my eyes) facial assymetry where

before there was none. How does this get corrected? WILL THIS

CORRECT??? Her face has gone from being perfectly sysmetrical to

lopsided and she has been wearing the helmet. I am a little freaked

out by this. Some guidance would be appreciated. (I will try to post

photos that show this)

Hi there. That is exactly what happened to my son. His face was very

mild, that we could not even tell he had asymmetry. Now after 2 months

it seems as if his face shifted more to one side. His tort has been

resolved, but I have been very upset at the fact that his face has

gotten worse.

Just curious, where is your baby's flat spot? And which way does your

baby tilt? Does he/she also have difficulty rotating? My son was

considered atypical presentation, which is not as common. Which way

does your baby have difficulty with range of motion?

Do you have measurements for asymmetry?
