Guest guest
Sunflower Mike- thanks for the reply. Yeah I have tried the tender point massage and that works at times in the arch itself- though it hurts like the dickens at first. The problem is that the collapse of bones and no ligament/tendon support is causing my foot to turn inward at the ankle which is causing bone pain. 9 years ago I wore a size 61/2 shoe and had a wonderful arch. Now everthing has collapsed and I wear a 81/2. Recently I can actually feel the tension pulling on my knee cap. I have already had 2 knee surgeries with grade III/IV chondrodis of proximal/lateral/tibial articular surfaces. My ortho said I needed a knee replace in 2000 but couldn't do it re: my age. And actually by following his advice/ limitations so far since then my knee has been the least of my problems. Now I can feel the same severe pain beginning in my knee and hip in cooridnation with the feet and ankle stress. From what i understand from this reconstructive/fusion is pretty intense-- but I am off work now anyway,.I would be interested in more details about massage- etc since I don't go to savannah for the consult untill March 22nd. I was not able to find alot of detailed info- just general. That's why i need info on results. I appreciate your help a bunch. Many good blessings Vicki
