I'd like to know if the patient is able to choose where a punch biopsy is performed. I am getting this performed in March and would prefer it to be somewhere inconspicuous but the places that I swell the worst and would assume is where they would want to take it from, are all visible.

Hi , I was able to pick where Alena's were taken from with the first two set and the third set the dermatologist picked them. With Olivia's (same derm) I was able to choose as well. I think you just have to speak up right away because between my girls they had seven punches done (three sets on Alena and a single on Olivia) and all three dermatologists handled them differently.
