Hi All,

I just took Elias' band off and noticed a severe discoloration

(lightening - looks like a burn almost but not swollen) on the side of

his face from his temple to his cheek (the area covered by his band).

We noticed it yesterday but it was not nearly as bad. He seems to be

slightly irritated by the area while he has the band on (grabs at that

side of the band). Should we leave the band off? If we do, it will

have to remain off until Monday. Would that impede his progress

significantly? Is there a chance that we'll have to get a new band if

we leave it off for the weekend? (that's what the Starband literature

says). Please take a look at Elias' photo and let me know what you

think. You may have to enlarge it to see the spot clearly.
