We are in Vermont for the next couple of years. I am pretending there is sunshine and I live in calif if that helps!! hee he hee I'd love you to meet my daughter, maybe you 2 could hook up and she could take you inside the movie world with her. She is always doing something crazy and exciting. When she worked on Kill Bill in China, Uma and Quentin threw her the most incredible bday party that I know I will never be able to top! she lives life to the fullest and no signs of EDS and she is 29. Guest guest
Whoa, I don't think I realized your daughter does something with movies!! I'm impressed! What does she do actually? I think that would be so much fun to meet all those people! It would be interesting to see just how many are " normal " people and which ones are phoneys. I have a cousin who is going to his last year of college at the university of Kansas, who is going into film work. I think he wants to direct or produce, I'm not sure. They had a mini film festival here in Omaha and showed a film he did along with some other students' films, but unfortunately, that was when we were going to Mayo, and I didn't get to go. I hope to see the film soon at his parent's house. Anyway, just would like to hear more about your daughter. I bet you miss her - I sure miss mine! She called this morning just to talk because she was in a bad mood. We're so close - best friends, really, and she's a little over 2 hours away, which isn't bad - it's just that everyone gets busy and doesn't take the time. Know what I mean? Hope everything is going well for you, Chris! Love Lana
Guest guest
I don't live there any more. I married a guy from Montana, and we moved sort of in the middle - to Seattle. Hermosa Beach is way too expensive to buy a house. You gotta work in the movies to afford one now. hehe My parents bought their house 4 blocks from the beach in 1962 for $24,000. 2 years ago, their 12 year old neighbor burned their house down. (That's another horrible story) They sold the lot, with the burned house on it for $650,000 last year. The house they put in it's place is on the market for $1,790,000. So, my parents bought a brand new house in Torrance. I dream about living there all the time. I sure do miss the sunshine and warmth. Seattle is pretty depressing. But, we lived in England for 5 years, and it was even more depressing. The weather I mean. It's hard to be a So. Cal girl in Seattle. I'm even thinking about getting some of those lights that simulate sun light. My sister in law has one, and she hasn't gotten SAD since. She sits under it when she's reading. I, on the other hand, run out and sit in any sunshine that may peek through the clouds. I have a good friend in the tv biz. She works on mainly documentaries, and is now working on a project for a new reality tv show. It's a fun business. Hugs, Mon
