Guest guest
Hello, Its Rhonda and I really wanted to wish all of you a Great Holiday Season with your families and friends. Im very sorry to say I havent been around much lately as I am still dealing with my Fiance's health problems. He did find out on Monday that his heart is doing wonderful and is now waiting on results from a PET Scan that will see if he could possibly have any tumors. I know you all have prayed for he and I both and I do feel each prayer as every day gets a little easier to deal with. For any of you that have wondered about Mark Boone aka Greybeard, he isnt doing well lately. Unfortunately he took a day off work to rest from pain and ended up slipping on the ice on the porch and broke his femor bone. I dont know why the doctor did this but he was put in a Nursing Home about a week ago. He is doing all he can to get out of there and get back home. He is in great spirits considering the situation. I know he doesnt post often on the boards but he has been trying to work a full time job and the RSD is spreading to his other arm. The doctors he has simply will not help him with the meds he needs to be able to work full time. Having RSD, I respect anyone who can work with this terrible Monster. I hope everyone here is doing well and getting along. My wish for all of you this Holiday Season is for less pain, good doctors, the right treatments and medications, and for you all to be able to spend the Holidays with your families. God Bless, Rhonda
Guest guest
RHonda - A return of wonderful holiday wishes to you as well. I'd love to see you post more often but understand the day-to-day activities can make the day just disappear. Hope they're able to get some help for you fiance soon I'm really distressed to hear of Mark's injury and, gees, his placement in a nursing home. He must be going nuts. Please send along to him my prayers and hopes that he'll get his butt out of there ASAP. Not a good thing. Good grief, how much more can he take?!?! Guest guest
Rhonda, So good to hear from you. Glad to hear that your fiance seems to be doing better. Please give Mark my best wishes. I hope he is able to spring himself soon and get back to his " normal " life. Yes, it is terribly hard to work sometimes, and he deserves much credit for doing so. I hope his Drs. can find a way to get his meds straightened out so he is able to continue. I hope your holidays are wonderful. Filled with family, peace, joy and low levels of pain. Hugs, Jo
Guest guest
Hi Rhonda Good Holiday wishes to you as well for this upcoming season! I'm sorry to hear about Mark, please give him my best! I wonder if perhaps the reason his dr put him in a nursing home was for rehab recovery. The facility I work in is both a nursing home facility and a rehabilitation facility for patients that have had surgery and need time before going home to grow stronger and have access to therapist around the clock. In any case, please let him know we are thinking of him and wishing him Happy Holidays as well.
