Guest guest
From: ngsamuelson I do not have the SI thing but I have had spinal surgery on L4-L5,L5-S1, bilaterally. I still need a fusion.. Weird isn't it. I suspect it's why I need a fusion, the instability must cause that, S. ~~~ S, I've been told by my doctors there is spinal instability, and that's why the spine shifts and puts pressure on the nerves in the low back. But I've never had it make 'clunk and thunk' sounds before or after there's been pressure put on the nerves. The doctors say they haven't ever had anyone tell them about that before. (of course that's nothing new..<g>) The sound and feeling is like 'finger nails on a blackboard' with each step I take and hear it. <yuck> Has the doctor said anything to you about when a fusion should be done? or leave it up to you, like mine did with me?
