Guest guest
will only be self conscious about the shape of his head if you make a big issue out of it. It is absolutely natural to continue to study the shape of your baby's head after he graduates from the band, but if you dwell on it too much he is going to notice there is something wrong with him and then he is going to have a problem with it as well. As long as he has a healthy self-esteem then some minor leftover flatness is not going to make him self-conscious as long as you can get past it too. Look at the exit cast when you can and if you really feel like you need to go after a 3rd band for him then go ahead, but you will need to keep in mind his age and if you think he is going to grow enough in the next few months to make a 3rd band worth it. Please let us know how it goes when you get to see the exit cast and whether you decide you want to push the issue of a 3rd band. And go right now and kiss that baby's head and know that it is much rounder than when you started all this. :-) Becky , repo grad > > I've been obsessing all morning. Guest guest
I don't know what to say about the band being off because we aren't there yet. But I did want to offer some advice about the eczema. I have eczema, and putting something like baby oil on mine made it worse. I found that Vanicream is the greatest stuff ever. It's still a heavy moisturizer, but it let's the skin breathe. And one of the worst things you can do to eczema is keep it from breathing. That just makes it itchy and flared up. I hope that helps! If you need to chat about it, you can email me at canta79@... Guest guest
Hi Carol, I think a lot of us obsessed after our babies graduated. I'd wait until you saw the exit casting before you decide on anything. I opted to do another DOCband, CT didn't recommend it. I wasn't totally happy w/her results. We did another band and were thrilled that we did. She received even more correction. Sometimes we just have to do what we think is right. Keep us posted. > > I've been obsessing all morning. Guest guest
Vanicream is amazing. My daughter was extremely sensitive to everything I tried. (cetaphil, aquaphor, aveeno) When I used this cream, her skin just absorbed it without any irritiation or pinkness whatsoever. I had such a sense of relief of finding a product that finally worked. My friend's husband is extremely allergic to everything and he uses this. A allergy specialist in Chicago told him to try it. It is also not overly expensive so I'm happy about that too. I have to buy it in online because they don't sell it in the stores in Illinois. But you might find a store that sells it in your state. Otherwise, use this website. http://www.natlallergy.com/allergy_relief/1259/vanicream-skin-care-lotions- skin-creams.html > > > > > > I've been obsessing all morning.
