Guest guest
Dawn, I hope that you start feeling better very quickly. It certainly sounds like the flu.. I agree about Insurance companies. Please let your Attorney deal with them, that's what he is for! Hugs, Jo
Guest guest
Lin, I am so glad that you are back. Do not ever leave again or I will have to hunt you down. You always have a way of cheering me up and making me smile! I actually took a shower today and went to the store and picked up my baby Holly. I need her home with Momma!!!!! The only problem is that the kitty is a little angry that Holly came back home. I have been taking it easy all day and just got off the couch before deciding to check mail. I am going to make soup in a little while and then lay back down. I will probally take your advice and watch a Christmas movie tonight! So many good ones have been on already, and I love and own Miracle on 34th street. You just gave me a good idea!!!!!!! (Thanks!!!!!!) Well I am going to make dinner and then watch a movie. Take care and hope that all is well with you and your family. LOL and best wishes always! Dawn wrote: Never ever again will I show an insurance company any kind of respect!!!!!!!! For now on I go straight to a lawyer and will not deal with these people at all!!! In fact once I get better I am going to speak to all my attornies so they no where I stand! Well have to lay down I am starting to feel real sick again. LOL! Dawn I am so sorry that you have been put through all that you have. I am glad that you have spoken to your attorney. Now I want you to try and relax, being upset only makes your pain sky rocket. So lay in your bed and play some nice music or watch a nice happy movie, or play some Christmas music anything that will relax you. Now that you have your attorney informed let them do the dirty work, that is what they get paid for. take care and I will be praying for you, Lin
Guest guest
Okay, I just figured this out! First I am going to the doctors on Friday and the fever is down at the moment and if it goes back up, I am going to the ER! The problem is, the doctor is an hour away and do not want to go there vomiting with my head out the car window!!! Second I nominate Barbara and Lin as my Moms, Ginny, Deb, Donna as my sisters and Cliff is my brother!!! Anyone else is invited to join this very nutty and crazy family!!!! There is one problem though- Whose my Daddy????? LOL all and if you have an answer please let me know. LOL Dawn wrote: Dawn listen to Barbara, I didn't put the symptoms together until I saw what you had written. Dawn how long has the vomiting, fever, and backache been happening together, if it has been 3 or more days and you have not gotten better. Get yourself straight to the doctors. Because that is a pretty high fever to have lasted as long as it has. Okay I admit I just can't help but worry over people that is the mother in me. So Barbara we can be known as the Mothers in the group. ( no funny remarks Cliff) Lin -- Re: Terribly Sick Again!!! Dawn = I am so worried about you. First, I feel terrible after hearing how things went with your having to cancel your IME appointment. What the hell do they think? Good grief !! If someone is, duh, disabled, doesn't it make sense that they might have days that they are even incapable of keeping an appointment. Heck, if you were up to doing everything, you'd have your butt at work. Just dont' get these folks at all. Even more important to me, with a fever of 102, vomiting, back pain and a headache, you better give your doc a call. While it most likely is a virus/infection caused by your weakened state, please let your doc be the judge of that. Call your doc. THose symptoms, especially if your temp continues to rise are not good. Mybe I'm over-reacting, but I don't like hearing that symptom combination. Please keep me posted and keep sipping the fluids but call your doc. Guest guest
Dawn - If I'm gonna be a mama then I want to be sure that I'm on the list for Mother's Day Cards. Not to worry about finding a Dad unless you're so inclined since I have no problem going without a husband. Just feel better !!!! I did not like hearing that cluster of symptoms. It was all too familiar although mine quickly went to 106 degrees and turned into the headache of a lifetime. You worried me, kiddo. Barbaradawn lorenz wrote: Okay, I just figured this out! As I said before, I can cook a bit, clean bathrooms and kitchens with the best of them and I have a huge van that when I'm not hauling music equipment to gigs, we can use for field trips to the mall, doctor's appointments and all that good stuff. Guest guest
Dawn, You've got Barbara and me you don't need a Dad. We've got you covered. We had a scare at a high school in Portland 3 kids came down with the bacterial Menghitis so they shut the whole school down for a few days. I remember that happening to me once when I was is high school and no there were no dinasaurs. True story when was probably about 4 or 5 we were at my Mom's and out of the blue goes Grandma were there dinosaurs around when you were a little girl. It took my Mom a couple of minutes to answer her because we were all laughing so hard it was just an innocent question. She finally said no honey I'm not quite that old. I hope everyone has a good evening, Lin -- Re: Terribly Sick Again!!! Dawn - If I'm gonna be a mama then I want to be sure that I'm on the list for Mother's Day Cards. Guest guest
Well Mom thanks for worrying, but now I have something new. When I got to Moms today she noticed that my neck was red. So when I got home I went to look at it better and I have this terrible rash all over my neck and upper chest. It does not bother me at all, but looks absolutely terrible and never had anything like this before. I am really starting to get a bit scared with all of this! I am thinking that it is from the meds! I hope that is all! Take Care and will let you know what is going on after I talk to the doctor on Friday! LOL MOM! Guest guest
Lin - Meningitis was precisely what I was concerned about (tho I also had spincal fluid leaking out of my nose.....groan). As my sister and the docs said at the time "I dodged the bullet." It's a miracle that I survived so I get a bit touchy when I hear that particular cluster of symptoms. I have to say though, that Dawn would hardly be in the typing mode at this point had it been bacterial meningitis. Barbara wrote: Dawn, You've got Barbara and me you don't need a Dad.
