I am full of questions and the first is does anyone know a good diabetes doc in Austin TX? Not happy with the current provider and it takes 8 weeks to get an appointment even if it is urgent. on top of that, I only get to see the real doctor face to face once a year and the rest of the time it is just a Nurse practitioner - who actually does know her stuff very well and is great...if I can wait 8 weeks to get in. looking to downsize and get more personal with a smaller office the twist is that I am a type 1 and also an active triathlete so I am wanting to find a new doc who knows about diabetes in high performance athletes any body have any ideas??
