I know Jayne is hooked and Joya is " moving it " .

Beth exercises. Who wants to get on the exercise wagon?

It might be a good idea to start reporting daily exercise.

You don't even want to know how far I walked the last two days.

I did 11.4 Km so far today, Di. Does that sound impressive??? Well, it is

only 7.125 miles, alas....I like the sound of eleven! And I have the long

walk with Solly still ahead at five. And my weights. Gosh, I wish my

pedometer were around cause I am sure I would be near the 16,000 steps

today!

Yes I am impressed.

How do you feel??

I am on my way to Terri and Jan and taking my 8 pound weights.

They have 2 pounders. I am going to show them proper lifting techniques.

As your other post stated.... we need to do weights 3 times/week.

That is my next goal.

You beat me on the walking today.... I did 6 miles in a blizzard. LOL

I have to work tomorrow in the morning so I'll have to see if I have time in the afternoon. Whew!

Wow, that is a long walk!!! good going. I only do about 2.4 miles at most. Whew, makes me tired just thinking of it. I am going downstairs for half an hour at 8:00, come hell or high water. So hold me to it. OK, dumb questions but who is Ricky Balboa?

I just walked 3.35 miles with Ricky Balboa on his bike, at Joya's urging. Wooo hoooo do I feel good now but I think I need to eat and take a nap...LOL

Well, when I looked down at my pedometer, it had me at 2.24 miles and I turned around and went home, like I had walked enough. I was tired!!! But it felt good although I came home and slept for 3 hrs. Ricky Balboa is my son who konked his eye on the edge of the stereo and has a HUGE shiner like Rocky Balboa of the "Rocky" movies.

I just listened to a whole tape of my book...time flew. I was doing a circuit around the park, cause I started late and there was too much traffic on my favorite route (the cars act like it is their duty to make you jump off the road)...and there was this "young thang" sort of jogging (she thought)...she was cute but had big thighs accentuated by VERY short shorts (you do NOT go out like that here in Honduras)...so of course we had a slew of construction workers who decided it was time to take a break. ANYWAY, she was doing her jogging routine and I knew she was going so slow I could pass her up walking and sure enough, I kept doing it :) So I not only walked a long time, I walked fast...and am now paying the price. Ask me....does the thought of sleeping in tomorrow appeal to me or what????

Okay of all those please tell me the best ones for the fat on the back. Need more of those.

my exercise report

worked out tonite with my trainer for an hour and a half 10 min on the treadmill, stretches, then we did leg press, chest press, leg extensions, lat pulldowns, tricep pulldowns, bicep curls, incline chest, seated rows, squats, hamstring curls, shoulder press, lower back, chest fly, rear delt and ab work three sets of 15 each exercise .. sooo i am tired lol

Okay what are lawn mower pulls and what do you do with the lower back? I am doing one where you put one knee on the bench and then you lift the weight up (kinda like a tricep only not in that direction, straight up). I do the rowing and I do the pull downs. The day I can look in the mirror and not see that flab will be the day I REALLY reach goal!

that is prob a lawnmowre pull joya one knee on the bench and you pull the weight from the floor up past your back like you would pull a lawnmower cord.... the lower back is a machine you push back with your back against the weights very slowly probably similar if you lay face down and lifted your chest and did supermans
