Hey , congrats on the A1c decrease. My last A1c was also in December,

around the 27th I think. Anyway, my result then was 10.9. I was also 5 weeks

pregnant. In January I lost the baby & was told not to try again until my A1c

was below 8. My 14 day BS average on my meter is currently reading 159 which

would put me around 6.6. I’m hoping that when I go in for another A1c check in

May that my A1c will then be read below 8. My BS's have only been improving

since early March.

My question for you, and others, is what kind of average are you seeing on

your meter or are you even testing? I’m just wondering if May will be too soon

to see my good numbers reflected in my A1c.

but on Byetta and was awaiting test results...I mentioned I would

repost with test results when i got them, but a major situation

developed and I have been unable to post.

My test results were good. My A!C was 8.1. I know this isn't great,

but compared to it being 11.2 in December, this is great. My liver

enzymes were normal, we have to watch these because of the meds. My

cholesterol was slightly high, but is also way down from before. My

weight hasn't increased, but it hasn't decreased either. After talking

to my Dr, the goal is to begin getting me off meds within the next 6

months to a year.

The non medical situation was last week our landlord sent us an email

saying we had to leave our house ALONG with our 5 cats and all their

things for a day so they could show the house to their daughter and

her friends so they can move in. Well, my fiancee went on to tell them

this was a violation of state law and problems have now started. We

have now found a new house and are preparing to move early next week.

Talk about stress.....I hate moving. The place we found is great

though so my hope is that this is happening for a reason and

everything will be OK.

Also any advice on Byetta use would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for readiing and letting me vent....
