Guest guest
~ This is how I make custard. I put 4 cups of Silk plain soymilk (4 grams sugar per cup) in a blender, add 5 eggs, 1/2 C of splenda and 1 tsp of vanilla. Whip that up till it's blended. Put a pan of water in a 350 degree oven...pour the custard in a casserole dish that has already been placed in the pan of water to avoid spilling...and bake for about 2 hrs and 15 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. (For some reason it takes this long for the soymilk to set up.) Sprinkle the top with nutmeg before you close the oven. Serve icy cold.
