Disney isn't just for people with kids or spouses. I will actually be without

my kiddo for Christmas this year and I'd STILL love to go to Disney. There's so

much to do there ...

About Disney: TO EVERYONE HERE!! Please Read.

Disney sounds like a nice place for everyone here that has a special someone,

and/or kids, but please remember that a few of us here haven't been that

blessed or lucky. We don't have a spouse and/or kids (I personally don't have

either), so Disney might not be that appealing to us.

I'm positive it is GREAT for those of you with children, but for those of us

who don't, it's just another reminder of what we do NOT have...

Just my take on things.

If any single people here without kids would like to get together and plan

something, please email me privately and let me know. There HAS to be things

for

us to do that don't center on families.

Hey Kimmie,

I haven't had my surgery yet (insurance keeps denying me!) and I

don't fit in some of the rides but girl DISNEY IS DISNEY! It's the

happiest place on earth! I don't have kids or a husband and I LOVE

TO GO TO DISNEY!

Believe me you can have more fun without kids :)

There is so much to do and if you are with a big group of people it

is just heaps and heaps of fun. I'll be your substitute kid if you

want. I get so excited and love Disney so much I act like a kid

anyways :)

Chin up. Think about it again?

I for one do not have children any longer at home but love the Disney idea.

Epcot is for the older at heart but I am 51 an still love the magic kingdom.

Lots of shows and rides even the old folks like. My mom goes and she is 71

Yeah,

I have several pals that I go with.. WITHOUT the hubby.. cause he is

SO NOT the theme park kinda person.. he literally will go and hold

bags all day long.. but he does not ride one thing - ever...

so, I go with friends.. we have a blast!!! Plus, Pleasure Island is

definately NOT kid friendly.. heee hee.. I can't wait to go in

my " sin wear " and shake my bootay!

I will say that I love Disney and I am neither married or with kiddos. I

worked at Disneyland, so I already have a love of the place. My mom and I

went a year and half ago to Disneyworld and we had a blast. We are both

single, so we went to the club on Disney Ave. and flirted with all the guys

during the shows :)

I don't know about anyone else, but even if I DIDN'T have kids or a

husband, I'd still want to go to Disney World. It isn't just meant for

families, it's meant for everyone no matter what their marital/child

status is.

Hey Kimmie

Disney is fine and even more fun without the kids LOL or a hubby. I am hubby

free but I do have a fiance. Honestly even without anyone I would go to

Disney it is just a nice relaxing trip.

Vicky I definitely agree with 100% of what you said. Disney is great no

matter what size because they make the rides that can fit us before and after

surgery LOL and there is so much to do and a big group just makes it even more

fun

just think of all the mugging for the camera and me with my cam corder

catching all the silly antics LOL

And ! You have some fun! You deserve it! You have come too far,

and for this you should be rewarded.. (But sorry, no cash flow here, only

support, emotional support. LOL! ) But anyway, you have a right to enjoy life,

especially after all the progress you've made. You'd only be silly, not to live

out your dreams.

Hey, and what's wrong with being a kid at heart? lol.. Live your life to it's

fullest.. And when I lose some weight, I'm going.. And taking my little

girl.. That'll be one of the happiest moments of both of our lives.. I CAN'T

WAIT..

lol. And then it's my turn to be " the kid " . I've missed out on so much in my

life.. I've never been there.. But I can guarantee one thing.. My daughter

won't.. Not if I can help it.. I don't want her to feel like she missed out on

anything.

Get out there in the world and have you some fun! And take some pics! hee

hee.. I know how much you like pictures.. lol..

Later,

Your wls sister, lol (we're all family at heart here) lol.

You're absolutely right.. You don't have to have kids, or a partner to go to

Disney World.. You can go and have a good time yourself with friends, or hell,

even alone, if you choose. I'm sure there are many singles out there that go,

just to have a good time. (In fact, I heard, there's so much more for the

adults, and that it's alot of fun to go without the kids). Of course, I will

take

mine when I go.. (Hey, she wants to see Mickey too.. and we're a packaged

deal here). I'm hoping to go next year, but we'll see.. If I go, I'll probably

be

going with my fiance' (if he's still around), and my daughter.. But if I

really wanted too, I'd go with friends. lol.. WHY NOT? Get out there and have a

good time girl!!!! You only live once. Later.

Kimmie';

Now what are you talking about girl? You can go to DISNEY whether or not you

have kids and a hubby.. Go with friends. Hell, you can even go alone if you'd

like.. They have alot of things going on for the adults anyway.. I've never

been there, but I know so many that have.. I'm intending on going, when some of

my weight drops.. Of course, I'm going with my daughter and fiance', but hell,

if I was single, I'd go alone.. WHY NOT? I don't know anyone that hasn't

enjoyed it.. My daughter's school staff goes without the kids every year.. And

they have a blast.. Keep an open mind. You might enjoy going yourself! And if

you don't want to go alone, you'll find someone to go with. Hey guys, help

Kimmie out.. Girl, get out there and have some fun!

I agree, and now they have this Disney at dark where its all clubs and places

for adults (I think they refer to it as the " boardwalk " but I'm not sure).

Disney rocks:) And I would go in a heart beat...with or without my kids.

Give Disney a second chance:)

Boy, we should get some sort of discount for a free advertising. :)

;

I'll tell you what.. I will call you sometime after surgery.. That way I

can't hear any horror stories about the surgery itself (BEFORE I GO IN) lol...

(I'm scared to death!) But trying to be strong now and not show it.. I'll have

to set my web cam up before I can send any pics to you of my daughter (the

highlight of my life, she holds my heart in her precious little hand) although I

do have a few old pics from last year.. (Don't have a scanner though). Had a

Canon Multipass but it was junk.. Well off of that and onto this..

I do plan on going to Disney by the way.. lol.. I told you I am.. And if I

can't afford it (which I'm sure I can if I save up for it in advance), I'd still

like to arrange something so that a group of us can meet somewhere.. Like a

WLS family reunion.. COOL, hah? Talk to you later. Hey, and if you want, you

can always write me. My mailing address is below.. I love mail.. Believe me! Of

course, e-mail is probably alot cheaper.. lol..
