It is usually used to augment his other pain meds, in some the

amounts of other meds can be lowered and in others it just helps the

others work better or helps other forms of pain, you have probably

seen written before that narcotics aren't recommended for neuropathic

pain (i.e nerve pain) where as Neurontin is for this kind of pain, so

it can help with the burning, electric and other types of nerve pains.

It helps me with the burning, electrical and shock type RSD pains I

get.
