You can set up some bills through My checkfree MyCheckFree.com When you go to sign up, they ask you some multiple choice questions to be sure and identify you (something like do you have a credit card through place a,b,c,or d) Gosh knows just don't answer something wrong. My son did and he's still trying to get his fixed.

When ebills come in, they send you an email, you sign onto the site, tell them what to pay and when, and they guarantee payment or they pay the late fee. I always put mine for the exact day they're due. If something falls on a weekend or holiday, it'll back the date up to the day before, but it tells you first.

The bills that aren't offered through checkfree, I do the same way through my bank. I like it because I can set the ones up that don't check to pay each month without asking me.

Subject: Re: Ginny,Paying your bills online is a great idea..I never really thought about doing that. I was thinking doing direct payment and having them just take out the money from the bank when the bill was due..I do that for my car ins and home ins..but I have never done it for other bills cause they usually fluctuate and I am usually mailing something out and rushing to the bank to have it covered by the time the check got to the company. But to pay online would be fine. Thanks for the idea...Hugs..Ginny
