Guest guest
I just wanted to say goodbye to everyone. I haven't been active in a few weeks but I do appreciate the camaraderie here. Dane started OT for Sensory Integration Dysfunction (Sensory Processing Disorder). This has kept me quite busy. Luckily it's mild and hopefully will be ready for Kindergarten Sept 07. To all of you starting your journey please take comfort in the fact that plagio has consumed my world twice. Now I rarely think about it. After banding corrects the problem you will get on with everything and forget all about this. Please know proactively seeking to resolve the problem will truly enhance your child's life in the long run. I don't worry about things like glasses or bike helmets fitting because I don't have to. The problem is resolved. I think we are throwing in the towel with insurance. My deadline to appeal with the Ohio Department of Insurance is fast approaching. I just can't seem to muster the energy to try again. We got half of Cece's band covered. We tried to get in network benefits since the providers were such putzes. Since our PT never applied to be in network I just realistically can't see us winning. If she had and was rejected I would probably venture on. In network payout was $2465 which I thought was pretty good. But our out of network copay and deductible knocked that number down considerably. I can't really complain though. I'd gladly have paid a lot more for the same results. We didn't even get a dime from stupid UHC with Dane's band. On a closing note I'd really like to thank . Being a moderator (or owner in her case) can really be a thankless job. We've been accused of getting paid in additional to other ridiculous comments. The only payment is the occasional thank you. And has put a ton of work into this group for the past 4 years. Gosh reorganizing the pictures when changed everything was a project in itself. She had to download everything to her computer and then upload it again. So thank you ! You deserve a medal Good luck to you all! in Cleveland Mom to Dane (4 yo) and Cece (15 mo) DOC Grads
