Hi ,

Consider yourself lucky you have one in your state. Some members drive

6 hours one way for treatment. Others fly to their appointments. There

are other treatment places in your state. I don't know if they offer

free evaluations though.

Most babies don't round out on their own.

Repositioning does work, but it has to be done 24 hours a day every

day. Time in swings, infant seats, high chairs, bouncey seats, and car

seats must be very limited or eliminated all together. The baby has to

be off the flat spot at all times, even while sleeping. You can check

out our repositioning headquaters in the files section. It's full of

helpful information. Also you can check out the olderplag group:

OlderPlag/

It's for Parents of older children with Postitional Plagiocephaly that

was never treated with a Cranial device due to inexperienced doctors

and/or late doctor referrals and such. Keep us posted on your little one.

here and think I should be worrying, but my friends who are mothers

tell me all babies have flat spots and it will work itself out. Who do

I believe? And what if it doesn't and it makes it worse or whatever? I

don't want to be that worrisome mother, but I also don't want to

dismiss it - though most say I shouldn't worry.
