I have an idea

I have met some pretty wonderful people in this group and I have a few plans

for next year with a couple of new post-op's and a pre-op that next year

during either the summer break or the Christmas break (our kids are all in

school)

that to celebrate our weightloss that we will all meet up for a weeks vacation

at Disney World in Florida. I know that has the cruise yearly

but what about those of us who are truly kids at heart what about DISNEY LOL.

All our familles could get together so we will not only have the love and

support from them but from each other in the happiest place on earth. Just

think of

all the goals we would meet together:

1. Riding in a plane with no seat belt extenders LOL

2. No fear at the turnstiles to enter the parks

3. No doubts about fitting into a rollercoaster seat harness

4. Saving money on food all us post-op's can just share a meal LOL hahaha

5. Going wild in Pleasure Island with slinky outfits LOL

6. Having all the energy in the world to chase Mickey down in the Parks and

much, much more :o)

We could all start saving and book whatever resort we choose by December

2003, so we can all stay close together and have an enormous amount of fun. Let

me know what ya think. I will be in Disney next year hope to see yall there

:o)

head up and your hopes high.. Disney, what a wonderful place I'd like to be...

I'm from Indiana girl! So I'm not next door, but that doesn't mean I'd never

travel that way. In fact, I intend to.. Good Luck. And keep posting.. You're

very inspirational to us all. Well me, anyway.. lol.

DisneyWorld in the summer in central Florida - NO THANKS!!!! Take it

from a native of the area, it's too $!$!@$!$! humid!!! I wilt,

period, no matter what my size...

Actually, October is the best time, the weather is milder, the kids

are in school (so the theme parks might offer deals), shorter

lines....

So, we have one vote for October!!! I was thinking fall or early

spring.. but yeah, South Carolina is bad enough in the summertime..

Florida is dreadful..

I hope all of you going to Disney World have a great time. Just a

word of warning to everyone taking children. This area is a huge

magnet for child molestors. Our daughter was in the hotel pool when

she was molested. Do NOT let your children out of your sight just

because it seems so " friendly. "

Also, not to burst anyone's wonderful dreams, but you might be

interested to know there is a book out that talks about Disney and

it's lack of attention to accidents and other problems. There have

been numerous exposes (sp?) on Disney on some of the major network

news shows.

Just beware that Disney is no safer than anywhere else. Just keep a

very close eye on your kids and carry a cell phone.

Yes, I know about the cruise but I am doing Disney for my honeymoon in 2005,

we are doing land and sea for our honeymoon and I don't want to spoil the fun

Thank you for the very kind words you are an absolute darling. :o) I am

serious by the summer of 2004 all who can I would really love for us all to get

together for a week of Disney. My family and friends call me the arranger LOL.

I arrange everything so we can all do it just start saving up now and those

who are not scheduled for WLS until next year who care Disney loves big

people, I Know I go every year LOL and I have been big for the last 14 years and

I

am 34 LOL. My daughter and I are big babies in Disney and like I am the

bigger baby I run and hug the characters and mug for the camera and I was even

goosed by Aladdin's Gene about 2 years ago LOL he grabbed my butt just when

my daughter snapped our picture Boy I sure hope it was a cute guy in that

costume LOL oh well. I hope everyone who wants to can make it all I need is a

tentative date that everyone can agree on and I will be off and running setting

up

itineraries of fun activities to do LOL.

See that is a bad time for me the whole point for me is for my daughter to be

out of school on break to be able to go and have fun with me I also listed a

winter date but it is during the Christmas Holiday break I sure hope some

people are able to come but if not I WILL BE IN DISNEY NO MATTER WHAT :o)

I'm sure looking forward to it.. If I had to take my daughter out for a week,

I would.. She'll be going to Kindergarten, and she's already advanced because

she was in pre-school for 2 years.. And the teacher said she's definitely

ready. So she'll be okay.. Besides, one week wouldn't kill her.. Of course, if

we

did plan around the kids' breaks that would definitely be better, but I love

October.. Maybe it's because I was born in October.. I'm an October baby! A

true Scorpio.. That could be a birthday gift to myself.. What do you think?

I think we can hope for a successful trip.. And round some others up.. I

don't think that will be a problem.. I've never been there and I'm looking

forward

to going.. And if others don't go, it's not going to stop you anyway.. YOU GO

GIRL!!! Talk to you tomorrow.. Later.

I hear ya I live in New York where I personally keep track of the registered

offenders in my immediate area. I always keep my daughter with me and under

my watchful eye and especially when we travel. Anywhere you go there are

molesters right in your child's own school right in your own church home what

they

have is a disease and it is rarely treatable. Your suggestions are sound

advise but as parents we must always be diligent to protect our children and to

pray for the Lord to keep a protective eye over them and angels around them

too.

I have never had a negative problem at Disney but you must remember it is a

highly populated place and people from all over the world go there. I don't

fear anything all you can do is Pray and take the necessary precautions and keep

your children close at hand. If my daughter is in a pool I am right there

with her and if someone was to dare to touch her inappropriately they would have

this LIONESS TO DEAL WITH AND BELIEVE YOU ME NO BODY WANTS A PIECE OF ME WHEN

I HAVE FURY UNDER MY BELT LOL.

All that said and done I think this will be a wonderful trip and a great

place for us to all get a chance to meet in a fun environment. But woe to

anyone

who harms a child in my party.
