Guest guest
It was that wants the snow..... Did you all hear about the 7 feet of snow that Buffalo, NY, had over Christmas week? And did you all hear on the national news this weekend, that Buffalo generously trucked in TEN truckloads of the stuff to Rochester, NY, for the " coldrush " weekend that was planned? We have had no snow this winter. The official tally is 1 foot, but we have had no more than a trace at any given time, in my area, just 20 minutes west of Rochester. No snow at all, and nice temps, too, for this time of year. We are located less than 70 miles away from Buffalo! SO if you want snow, call Buffalo. They will sell it cheap. It cost Rochester about $3,300 to truck in the 10 truckloads, and it would have cost us $2500 to make, if we had temps cold enough long enough to do it. As far as I am concerned, it's lovely to look at, lovely to take a photo. I don't want to drive in it, walk in it, or shovel it. I don't want to learn winter sports. I want to be warm again. Please. Guest guest
Having lived through the 7feet of snow may I say it was our pleasure to truck it down to you.We still however have allot left.It is going down because of some warmer weather, but if anyone wants some come on over and get it ,no charge.LOL.No one can say that Buffaloians aren't helpful.Pam At 12:21 AM 1/14/2002 -0500, Grillo wrote: >It was that wants the snow..... > > >Did you all hear about the 7 feet of snow that Buffalo, NY, had over >Christmas week?
